Lonely Planet says there are 3 million motos in Saigon, and it really does look like an army of riders coming to get you at every traffic light. We learned how to cross the street, which was a big feat. Close your eyes and don't change pace.
Hi guys! I’m in NY right now and had dinner with Chen, Barrie and Jenn last night. They gave me an update and your blog so I thought I’d say hi. Sounds like you’re having an absolute blast! So damn jealous. But more importantly, happy for you guys since you deserve ever wonderful second of it!!
Do you have an actual itinerary? I’m gonna be over in Europe at the very end of March/beginning of April. Where will you be then? I might be in the Middle east or northern Africa for a week of my trip over there and I’d love to see you half way ‘round the world.
This fall, Antha was in the Twin Cities working for the Obama campaign and Sam stayed in New York, when he wasn't visiting Minnesota and getting put to work.
Now we're taking a good chunk of time off (5 months, or 20 weeks, or 138 days) to travel around the world.
We made the decisions about where to go in the same way we decide most things--took some guesses and pulled the trigger when the deadline (in this case the cutoff for ticket purchase) approached.

Sporken. Awesome spoon knife fork combo purchased in New Zealand.

First aid kit-chock full even though all we ever use are bandaids and neosporin, and on bad days, immodium
